Exciting news!!!

I am excited to say that as of yesterday I am a teacher at a wonderful scrapbooking store in Peddlers Village, Lahaska PA. I will be teaching card classes there starting in May. I can't wait to get started there :)

Here they are......

Ok, so I have not been a good girl with updating my blog. Sorry :)
My sister has been here since Saturday so I've been busy with her.
I did, however, find the time to finish the cards.
Each card, except the baby card and the 'caught a bug' card has been
left without a sentiment on purpose.
I have left an inconspicuous spot on each card where a sentiment
can be placed if desired, but can be left as is if needed.
The baby card can also be done in pink as well.....you get to choose :)
If you are interested in taking my class or receiving a kit, email me
at pheonix@netcarrier.com for details with CARD CLASS in the subject
line. All kits will include everything to
make the card as shown...excluding adhesive and popdots. I will be
setting a date and time for the class as soon as I get an idea of how many
are interested in taking the class so I know what I am looking at for a venue to hold it.

Thank you to my family and friends for their support! It means so much to me!

A sneak peak..

Thanks to the support and encouragement of my family and friends, I have decided to hold card classes. I have the 5 images colored.....they just need to be 'tweaked' a bit. But in the mean time, I figured I would give a sneak peak of what I will be using for the cards. The baby kitten one can be either blue or pink. As soon as the cards are completed, I will post pictures of them.

Not much else going on today. I am very excited to finally see the sun out. YAY! This means I can go work outside and get some Spring things done. I also really need to get my seeds started, otherwise it will be too late!!

Out of the mouths of babes...

Ok, so starting one of these is tough. What do you say? Will anyone read it?
I decided to start with what I lovingly refer to as a Paige-ism.
During this past weekend, Paige was asking about Easter. She sat on Mark's lap while he told her the whole story...in a nutshell suited for a four year old. She sat and listened very intently. She loves details and clings to every word spoken.
After hearing the story from Mark, she comes to me and asks me to tell her the story. I tell her the same 'nut-shelled' story, again, as she sits and listens. Over the course of the day, she has heard the story so many times she could recite it in her sleep.
Fast forward now to dinnertime the next night. While eating, she asks Mark to tell her the story yet again. He tells her that she has heard it so much that maybe she should tell US the story.
Ok, she is agreeable....but needs a little help. As she gets to a part where she has to say "Jesus", she stops. We tell her to go on and she gets all shy-like. We ask her what's the matter. "I can't say his name" she says. "Try" we tell her. After some prodding she finally starts telling the story again, but in her story, she says "cheez-its" instead of "Jesus". Ok, I can see it...LOL
As I said.....out of the mouths of babes!!!
